Presenting our sunny Pineapple Jaljeera Drink ā€“ a must-have for the summer season. Letā€™s explore the keys to making this unique and delicious drink to spice up your summer parties.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup chopped fresh pineapple

  • 1 inch ginger, roughly chopped

  • 12 mint leaves

  • 4-5 black peppercorns

  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds

  • 1/4 teaspoon black salt (kala namak)

  • 1/4 teaspoon asafoetida (hing)

  • 1 tablespoon lime juice

  • 1/2 cup cold water

  • Sparkling water or plain water (to adjust consistency)

  • Honey or sugar to taste (optional)

  • Fresh mint leaves and pineapple chunks for garnish

Directions

  • Spice Up the Blend:
    First, roast cumin seeds and black peppercorns in a dry pan for 30 seconds over medium heat until aromatic. Grind them along with the ginger and mint leaves into a fine powder.
  • Juicy Tropical Twist:
    Mix the pineapple pieces with the cold water and grind until smooth. strain the juice from the pulp.
  • Mix & Mingle:
    In a bowl/jug, mix the pineapple juice, lime juice,chopped ginger, Grinded powder, black salt, and asafoetida. Adjust sweetness with honey or sugar if so desired.
  • Fizz, Chill, and Enjoy:
    Divide among glasses and top with sparkling water or regular water as desired. Pour in ice cubes, decorate with fresh mint leaves and pieces of pineapple, and let us make a toast to summer!
