Take a culinary journey with our Chilli Guava Juice Mocktail. The perfect blend of sweet guavas with a slight touch of spice elevates your taste buds.

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe guavas, seeded and chopped

  • 1 ½ cups filtered water

  • 1 ½ tbsp freshly squeezed lime juice

  • 1 tsp finely chopped green chili (adjust to your spice preference)

  • ½ tsp honey or agave syrup (optional, based on your guava’s sweetness)

  • ¼ tsp ground cumin

  • Pinch of sea salt

  • Ice cubes

  • Sparkling water, soda, or ginger ale (to top)

Directions

  • For blending:
First, blend the chopped guavas with a little water, lime juice, and chili in a blender until smooth.

Strain the mixture to remove any chili seeds or pulp.

  • For Spices:
In a large pitcher, combine the blended guava juice , ground cumin, and salt.

If desired add honey or agave syrup for a Sweeter taste.

  • For assembling:
    Fill glasses halfway with ice.

Then pour the blended guava juice over the ice.

Top off with sparkling water, soda, or ginger ale for a bubbly touch.

  • For Garnishing:
A garnish of a lime wedge, fresh mint leaves, or a dusting of chili flakes adds an extra tropical feel.

Tips:

  • Play with the chili! Depending on your spice tolerance, adjust the amount for a subtle tingle or a fiery kick.
  • In order to enjoy an extra slushy texture, you can freeze some guava chunks beforehand and toss them into the blender.
  • Get creative with toppings! For a savory turn, try a pinch of chaat masala or a pinch of black salt.
  • Make it a party punch! For a crowd please, double or triple the recipe and serve in a large bowl with a ladle this should be a favorite summer drink.
